Trying to comfirm, without spending a great deal of money as I am on a limited income, if my 5th Great Grandfather fought in the 7 year war. Below is the information I have for him. Any help or links would be ever so kind of you. Thank you in advance.

Sincerely,
Beca Lehr

Peter Cooper
b. March 3, 1732 in Rowley, Essex County, Massachsetts
d. October 22, 1759 in Halifax, Quebec, Canada

S/O Leonard Cooper & Sarah Platts

Peter married Mary Skillian & to this union 2 children were born.

Peter served in the French Indian war,(Seven Year War) went to Quebec, to fight the battle of Quebec and died returning, 22 Oct., 1759. Another account says that he died in a hospital at Halifax. He might have served in the Nova Scotia Rangers, two companies raised in Massachusetts for Annapolis Royal Garrison.
