I would suggest to you that documented census records, KNOWN and ESTABLISHED Abercrombie family naming patterns, certain significant questions YET to be resolved and documented relating to our Abercrombie family and a little good common sense in addressing the issues at hand have significant merit when one considers your sole "remarkable disclosure" of certain church membership records that confirm nothing...except that various Abercrombies attended church. As you are well aware, said records do nothing to connect John Abercrombie as father to your "proven" Colvill Abercrombie or for that matter to any other male church member. Why don't you rethink your "church membership theory" or at least do some "credible" research on the issue at hand before you attack others? I known you need to save face, but I refuse to allow your flawed Abercrombie conclusions to be accepted as fact. Kindly post ALL of your DOCUMENTED PROOF that John Abercrombie is the father of your "proven" Colvill Abercrombie. YOU HAVE NONE! Sorry...any Abercrombie family LORE you may have gathered over forty years can't be used as documented proof! As to your offensive suggestion that I should research other family lines so as not to be so brash as to question your somewhat cursory/flawed Abercrombie research , I think I'll pass. I'll be looking for that COMPLETE LISTING of YOUR DOCUMENTED PROOF on your John Abercrombie fatherly connection to your "proven" Colvill Abercrombie! To be continued...
