From information you gave on Earle Sherman Bradley (Smith?) I believe you must have a copy of his obituary. As you see in it he has a brother, James Bradley, of Beloit WI listed. Evidently James was not adopted either.

James Lane Bradley, Apr 1 1928-6 Jul 2005
Died in Beloit WI
Service was private
Hansen Funeral Home
424 Prospect St
Beloit WI
(no family was listed, but funeral home should have information.)
