Sandra, Thank you for your response to my post. The information I have given is all we have. I have added the names and dates that I do have to this post.

Trying to find a boy born 1911/1912 in Boundary County, Idaho. The family lived near Leonia. We know from articles in the Pend D'Oreille Review dated March 28, 1913 that the boy and his 3 sisters were removed from their parents, William and Ruth Aahart (mispelled various way....Rose A'hart) in 1913 because of their mother's mental breakdown and their father's neglect, abuse. According to the articles they were taken to the 'Poor Farm'. The 3 girls were adopted. Matilda, 6yrs. and Nell, about 5 yrs. by Jacob Lang. Edith 3yrs (name changed to Barbara) adopted by Wm. Guhr. Both adoptive families were in Boundary County. The articles identified the boy only as "about a year old". No name.
Their mother Ruth died in the Mental Hosp. in Orofino in 1920. We have found no trace of their father Wm. Simon Aahart.
