I have an old copy of the adoption papers, the names are blacked out with what appeared to be black permanent marker. For the child it states Baby Boy (last name blacked out), states birth mother (total name blacked out) but that she was a minor at the time of the adoption-March 1940. I have been trying my darnest to read through the blacked out names....the name I have given you is what 'appears' to be under the black marker...Remember this is also a copy. So if you are asking me if I am positive that is the spelling....I would have to say no. But if it is not the correct spelling I do believe it is close to that. I did not know there was an Imagene Lisle.
I no this sounds silly but I really have no experience with this I am just trying every avenue I can think of for help or suggestions. Please no that I do appreciate very much that you have even taken the time to answer my postings.

Susan
