Jerri: Thank you, I knew there was a thing in the 1866 treaty about anyone gone over 6 months was no longer affiliated with the tribe, I don't remember exactly how it went, but one thing I do know there has been upteen million scams and inquires from people trying for the god almighty dollar from the cherokee nation, it should be mentioned that IF you don't live in the tribe please don't ask if you are looking for money....jim
