Dear Adam akers,

Looking for Akers of Virginia and anyone who may have hard copy of resources needed for the DAR.

The book you mentioned, I'd like to get this book, where?

I'm the g. grandaughter of Paris akers, which tracks back to Solomon akers Sr. and his Father Blackburn Akers Sr,

In doing your genealogy, have you found any records, which I understand I need to have qty (2)valid proofs of my paternal side or materal side to join the DAR.

The Earl B Akers sr( now deceased) has a great website, but I don't know how to reach his son earl jr. or his daughters.
can you help? Do you have any of the supporting doc's

I need info on Paris akers, Andrew J. Akers, William B. Akers, Solomon sr., Blackburn Akers Sr., which his father is William E. Akers III....This is the paternal grandfather line I need to follow

I've also looked at the website The family of Samuel Dulaney, which is a great family website source. Do you know how to contact the authors of either of the websites I've mentioned

I've found some tax records, census, etc.

Can you help me in anyway...I'm now ill and can't travel much to Richmond va Library...My family covers most of the counties.

God bless
Carolyn Akers Tedder
