Does Argirocastra come from Latin "Argiro-camp" ?

I am not familiar with details of Albania's history, but I do have a basic knowledge of the origins of many European languages. I studied Latin for 7 years and taught it to school students for many years.

I noticed the name of the town/city in Albania was
"Argirocastra". I wonder if the final part of this name
"-castra" is from the Latin word for "camp". When the Roman armies settled in many parts of England, the name of the camp later became part of the modern name (example: the camp at Win, or Win-castra, eventually became
"Winchester"). If castra is indeed Latin in origin, what does "argiro" mean?

I have read in other postings on this forum that Albania's religion was Christianity before it became Islam 500 years ago under the Turks. I assume the Christian religion was introduced sometime after the decline of the Roman Empire.

Does someone posting here know if the Romans settled what is now Albania? In fact, is the name 'Albania' itself a Roman or Latin name?
