I found the following family on the Consolidated Census Index (1871, 1881, 1891) available on the Digby County Genweb site. Address below

The columns didn't come out very well but each of the little dashes represents a Census . For instance John Ambrose was age 47, married in 1871, age 57 married in 1881 and not found in the county in 1891. Mary N was 3 in 1871 and probably died young as she isn't on the 1881 Census. None of the family are in Digby County in 1891. John is a Church of England official, of Irish descent and born in New Brunswick, Canada
