I am seeking further information on my great grandmother, Anastasia Ambrose. She married Michael Bridgman in Newcastle, Co. Limerick, Ireland in 1889. Anastasia's father was Thomas. The only confirmed facts I have at this stage is by details i have on Anastasia and Michael's marriage entry in the marriage register. Anastasia's residence at the time of her marriage was in Dunganville. Her father was a farmer. Going by the fact that Anastasia was of full age when she married in 1889 I have made a calculation that she would have been born about 1867 and possibly in Limerick, Ireland. In the 1853 Griffiths Valuation of Ireland - Newcastle, County Limerick there is a Thomas Ambrose of Dunganville Lower along with James, Michael and Patrick.
I have been having major difficulty in tracing any further information on my Irish ancestors so any information would be most appreciated.
By the way I live in New Zealand, a descendant of Michael and Anastasia's son James Philip Bridgeman. He was my grandfather who came to New Zealand about 1910 but once again I have no details on how he got here.
