This is all I have to reference my ancestor Stephen Winfrey he also went by Stephen Winfrie (1765 in Cumberland, Co., Va.- 1821 in Franklin Co., Va)
serving in the Revolutinary War.


1781:
He served in the Revolutionary War and was issued a military pay warrant on April 10, 1784, for his Services in the Militia of the State of Virg inia in 1781. (Auditor's Dept. Account Book X VIII, P. 532)

Can anyone give me more info. Thanks in Advanced.
