The DAR has a John Farley born 1750 red flagged because of a discrepancy:

Birth: 10 Apr 1750
Death: 19 May 1832 WHITEHOUSE NEW JERSEY
SpouseNumber Name 1)ANNE GRAY
This isn't much help but thought I'd let you know in case this is him or the other with same name.
