Years ago Jerry Applegate shared with me a gedcom of the Daniel Applegate/Rachel Lindsay line. My question has to do with their son Elisha. I have found Elisha Applegate indexed in 13 Regiment (Gray's) Kentucky Militia in War of 1812. I would like to find a reference to his death and the cause of his death. Jerry said, and I've seen others who are in agreement, that Elisha died 7 Jan 1815 of yellow fever while enroute to join Andy Jackson in Battle of New Orleans. Can someone please refer me to a document that shows that?
