Hi!
My great-great grandmother Alice Applegate was married in Toms River, New Jersey on August 17, 1886. Supposedly she married an Applegate (Charles) from Asbury Park. They were divorced before my great grandmother, Leota, was born. I am trying to find any information about Charles that anyone may possibly have. I know that it's a long shot, and I really don't have much information to work off of, but I would appreciate any insight that anyone can give me!!
I am not positive that he was from Asbury Park. That is the story through the family. The other rumor was that perhaps he was having affairs, which is the reason for their split? Once again, not sure what the story was, so I am looking to fill in those blanks!
