Joseph Archer m. Laura Moore

I am trying to untangle this family. Laura Moore (b. 1865) was adopted into the family of Daniel Moore (b. abt. 1823) when George Moore's wife died. George, her father, was living in Green County, Wisconsin but Daniel was living in Noble County, Ohio. Laura was just a toddler. George supposedly came from England, the census states that Daniel's father was born in New York. But I am beginning to believe that Daniel is from the Noble County Moore family. Laura grew up to marry Joseph Archer of Noble County in 1886.

I would appreciate hearing from anyone with a fresh perspective on this bunch.
