Looking for info on Stephen Archer. born 1745 likely VA, served in Rev War. first wife Elizabeth, Elizabeth daughter (disabled from birth)Mary. Second wife married Martha Sine when she was 18 to 20 yrs old June 12, 1822 and died May 12, 1824 when married he was about 75 years old. He was discharged formally from service 1818. He lived in Western area of Monongelia County VA/WVA. He lived near to James Archer in the 1820 census. Martha Rice collected pension in 1855. I am trying to find where he is buried and the relationship to James.
Any help appreciated. I have the pension records on him from footnote.com but it does not include the final pension record that usually tells when payment is stopped due to the death of the pension collector aka Martha Rice.
