Seeking names of the parents and any siblings of Milton Armstrong (1812 – 1874); b. NY, possibly Orange Co.; m. about 1841 Eleanor BONNELL/BUNNELL (1822 – 1899) of PA. In 1850 he was a Laborer in Milford, Pike Co., PA. By 1860 Milton and his family were living in Bethel, Sullivan Co., NY. He worked at the Kiersted tannery in Mongaup Valley, Sullivan Co., NY.
He had eleven children: Mary, George, Adelia, James (d.y.), Eleanor, James M., John B., Mark, twins Jerome and Syrena, and Emma Jean.
Milton and his wife are buried in the Old Cemetery in Mongaup Valley.
