My grandfather was Robert F. Armstrong, which would have made you & my mother 1st cousins. She was Mary Joyce Armstrong Bearden. I have been looking for information on the Armstrong family for some time, but have not been able to get a lot, other than what I have been told from a few folks. Robert took his family and moved them to central Florida back in the mid-60's. He passed away in 1994, and my grandmother passed away a few years ago. All the other family members except one are in Florda. My mother's sister Diane Armstrong still lives in Albertville (my mom passed away in 1999 from cancer..she lived in Albertville). Years ago, my aunt Diane often spent time with your aunt Myrtie who lived in Gadsden.....she told me that Myrtie had all sorts of old family pictures & information, but she has been dead several years now, and her daughter (who would have got all that) has passed away too, so I do not know where any of that might have gone to. I would love to find any of that information; especially copies of old family photographs. I will look through my information and see what all else I have. Please let me hear back from you.
