Hi everyone!I am just starting out and having lots of fun but now I'm stuck. This is the info I have found so far: My grandfather:
John James Armstrong b. 2 May 1900 Naughton, Ontario d. 1968 married Elizabeth Evelyn Leitch (b. 8 jan 1900 town of Alice, Ontario) on 18 sept. 1918 in Sudbury;
GGFather: William Armstrong b. 9 Apr. 1860 (wife Alice Roach (or Roche?) b. 4 july 1867, m. 11 jan 1896 Sturgeon Falls)
GGGFather: William and Jane......This is where I'm stuck. The 1901 census has a Wm b. 3 Dec 1828 and a Jane b. 15 june 1829 but no other info. Ancestry.ca doesn't have any either. I am also looking for info on the Malartic Mines (my uncle Leonard Armstrong was one who lost his life there in 1947). Lloyd Armstrong is another that I'm trying to find info on. He was supposedly one of Canada's most wanted but was never caught. He would be my great-uncle. Anyone with any info would be greatly appreciated.
