my mother was Belle Weir Ashby Lucius. Her line is traced back to Capt Thomas Ashby thru his son Henry. But also his
granddaughter Elizabeth daughter of Sinah Ashby md Sephen Ashby's son Stephen Ashby Jr. And Sinah's other daughter Hannah Berry md back into Henry's line. Geneva Ashby Jones
who posted on here traces her line back to both Stephen and Robert Ashby sons of Capt Thomas.
Also my grandmother Myrtle Weir md Wiley Ashby a direct line back to Capt Thomas. And Myrtle's sister Ruth Weir md Ozzie Ashby an uncle Geneva Ashby Jones related back to Capt Thomas.
Richard Reynolds Ashby's grandfather James M Ashby and Wiley Ashby my grandfather were brothers.
Richard tested as did Geneva's nephew and a 1/2 dozen of others related also tested proving that most of Capt. Thomas Ashby's family were traced all back to Him. Deanna
Grissom who was instramental in getting the dna tests started though family also tested back to Capt Thomas'
My line thru Henry moved from Virginia to Ky as did Stephen and his family. And ever since then generations of relatives still live in the Madisonville area of Hopkins county Ky. My branch moved on to Arizona and scattered on everywhere from there.
