I'm also interested in learning more about John T. Atwood. His parents may have been James Atwood and Martha McGehee of Virginia.

I descend from John T.'s daughter, Sarah Elizabeth b. 1800 VA. She was the wife of Richardson Wiles; they married 7 Mar 1822 in Surry Co, NC and settled in Switzerland Co, IN. Little is known of Richardson Wiles, either.
