What does W.D.C. McCreary stand for?
Miller L. McCreary (the man I spoke about in the picture was the oldest son of Joseph and Nancy White McCreary of Hillsville, Mahoning Twp., Lawrence Co., PA.
I have this in my Joseph and Nancy White Family Record:

White McCreary
(Died at __)
Occupation: __________________________________
Born: Approx. 1852, ____________________________
(White was 8 years old in the 1860 Federal Census for Lawrence Co., PA.)
Died: __________, _____________________________
Residence: ___________________________________
Cause o Death: ________________________________
Wake: _________________________________
Buried: _______________________________________
(He/she is not shown in the 1870 Federal Census. He/she either died or left home, no further info found on him/her.)
White McCreary had a younger sister named Clara born in North Beaver Twp., Lawrence Co., PA in 1854.
Could your WDC McCreary belong to this family?
