Researching the family history, I came across posting #164 and found my great-great grandfather, Ruben Augustine listed. The information that we have is that he was born in 1847 in Mt.Pleasant, Henry Co., Iowa and died in September, 1872 in Talleyrand, Iowa. He married Nancy Jane Jester in 1870 in Washington, Iowa, and they had one child, Clarence B. Augustine, my ggrandfather. Nancy Jane Jester Augustine remarried and emmigrated with her son and new husband to Kansas in the 1870's. Chester Ruben Augustine, his son, was my grandfather, and died in Kansas in 1954. I'm looking for any information on Ruben, his parents, and their heritage. Any help would be appreciated!
