Researching the family of my three times great grandfather John Ayre born in Merrington around 1782 - 1786; no baptism for him found as yet. John married Margaret Rogerson and they had 12 children, all but the eldest two born in Sunderland. I also have other information from the Merrington and Croxdale registers and censuses from my research in trying to determine John Ayre's parentage which I am happy to share. Information is from mid 1700's to 1851.
Would also like to trace descendants of John and Margaret's children. Youngest daughter Margaret is my ancestor. Other surviving children were Mary, Elizabeth, James, Ralph, John, William, George, Thomas, Sarah and Robert.
