Looking for info on John C. Babbitt. Married to Jennie Darrow 1865 in Coldwater, MI. I believe they moved to IL
after that. There are two children Cora and John. Both children are born between 1865 and 1875. Jennie is shown
to marry William Wallace Godfrey in 1875. The children
are then part of the new family. There is no further
info on John C. until he is listed as injured in the MI
Pensioners records for 1883. I have been able to trace some
info on Cora but nothing on son, John. There is an
Elizabeth Babbitt shown in Jennie's house in 1910, as a 15
year old daughter(?) I don't know where she comes from either! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
