I'm looking for a Babbitt family that may be connected to an Elkins family.
Have: John Mendall Babbitt, s/Nathaniel, b Oct 1, 1785 in Hanover, NH res. In Hardwick Vt and had children:
Curtis
Harvey (killed at Bull Run)
Elkins (d. Allegan, Mich)
Asenath (d. Allgan MI)
Franklin (d. Allegan, Mich, was in civil war)
and
Charles Carpenter b. Dec. 10, 1832 (b Ogden)
Does anyone have any information on this family?
