Mary, I also am reasonably new in trying to find my family. I have a David Bachman boorn July 6, 1828 in Bern Switzerland, married in Marshall, Michigan in 1858 to Anna Stuber. She was also from Switzerland.He died in 1889 and is buried in the Sodtown Cemetery in Revenna Nebraska, she lived innnn the Old soldiers home in Grand Island Nebraska til she died in 1908.. I can't find anything on back for David. I have no clue as to who his parents are or if there are brothers and sisters..... Can you help me??? I hope someone out there has some information to get me on the right track..... Thanks in advance. Barbara
