Could be a connection; I have no information on that line specifically. I can't identify my Bachman connections earlier than about 1812 (birth of Israel, my ggg grandfather's older brother). I also have a power-of-attorney connecting my gggg grandfather John Bachman with HIS father Samuel in 1818. But I can't push that any farther back.
The Indiana Bachmans could possibly be through siblings of my gggg grandfather or earlier and I haven't identified them at this point.
