Thanks Helen, We have been looking for Matilda for quite awhile. Her maiden name was Newman and in 1836 she married into the Whitlatch family. Her husband, James Whitlatch must have died after the 1850 census we could not find him any where. Then about a month ago I found in Family Search a Matilda Whitloch that married a John Bagley and I begin to wonder.
