I have not run across your Mahala NORRIS & FERGUSON family before. I think that my family came out of Kershaw Co but no proof.

My PERRY family came from NC to GA. Some of the NC folks, not mine as far as I know, stopped in SC (Edgefield Co, I think) en route to GA.
