Does anyone have documentation for the parents of William Baldwin born December 27, 1750 in Amelia/Prince Edward Co., Virginia. His Rev. War Pension Application lists his service in the Revolutionary War, his place & date of birth & his residences after his service. He states he resided in Prince Edward Co., Virginia until 1786 when he moved to Union Co., South Carolina where he resided until 1817 when he moved to Daviess Co., Indiana. The White River Chapter of the DAR in Washington, Daviess Co., Indiana erected a tombstone at his grave in the Baldwin Family cemetery the year 1939. A website which has a photo of the cemetery & his tombstone also has records which state he is buried on the property he homesteaded. The cemetery is located about 9 miles south of Washington, Indiana. Does anyone know how he is related to the other Baldwin families in Prince Edward County who are listed on this message board. I have been reading wills of other Baldwins in Prince Edward County, but cannot find a connection to my William Baldwin.
