I have an indenture between Andrew Baldwin & William Halcy. The selling of 200 acres in Ashe Cty, N.C. It was signed by Enoch W Baldwin, William Baldwin & James Baldwin. In the May term 1818 North Carolina Ashe Cty. The deed was duly proven in open Court by Enoch XXXXX Baldwin in order to be Registered. My question : Does anyone know who this Andrew Baldwin was? How do I find the deed where Andrew Baldwin aquired this 200 acres which he sold? I am trying to prove that this is my Andrew Baker Baldwin.
