I am looking for information and/or the descendants of WILLIAM BALL, d. 4-11-1872, a shotfirer at Hollingwood in Staveley Co., Chesterfield, Derbyshire. He was killed at the Donhill Pit, as it was known among the locals, but officially was named Hollingwood.
I believe he was a relative of our Ball family and would appreciate very much any information anyone may be able to give me.
