I am looking for info on my great-grandmothers family.
I am not sure just what the spelling of the name was. I do not think her children new also.
I know from census reports on her in 1870 she was listed as parents from Hannover.
So far I know she was born in Little Falls, New York about 1849 or 1850.
They gave me a name there as being Benniker in 1850 then changed to Benica in 1855 but I find nothing with that spelling after that.
Now I have come up with Benake, Baencke and Benakey all of these from family death cert. Her parents could have been Henry and Anna she was known to us as Emma but could have been Emily, sister Almena brothers Henry and John.
Emma[Emily]married Frank Anton Seibert.
Has anyone out there come across these names?
Any help or info appreciated.
