I found this on the internet and thought maybe someone would know of a connection between Israel Barber of Georgia and Florida early 1800s and this James Thomas O'Neill. This may be very helpful to those researching Israel Barber. Apparently it is available for viewing at the University of Florida Libraries. James O'Neill was exuctor of Israel Barber's estate. Children mentioned are Elizabeth, Jemima, and Virgil. My great great grandmother is Elizabeth A. Barber who married Cornelius Voorhees in Camden Co., Georgia 1842. Elizabeth was born 1825 in Florida. I believe her father was Israel Barber b. about 1870 in Connecticutt and died 1833. I look forward to hearing from anyone doing research on the Barber families of Georgia and Fl.
