Thank you for replying to my posting. I just received it today, Fri. April 21, 06. Yahoo is sometimes slow, and I changed my e-mail address yesterday, so I am sure that slowed things down also. I am not sure if Amos Thompson married a Calista (Cali) Barnum or a Kali Barrum. The only child that I know of is Amos Fiske Thompson. I haven't been able to find any information on them, except for a couple of postings. One of the actually says Amos Fiske father was David. But the rest say Amos and one says he was born in Vermont, some say he married Kali Barrum, and a researcher asked if could have been marred to a Calista Barnum. The names are so close, I don't doubt it.
Amos Fiske Thompson married Elizabeth Catherine (Nye) Hon, her 2nd marriage.
Her children by Samuel Hon were:

You did give me some very interesting leads. I will look into them. Evidently Calista would have been close to the end of her child bearing years when she had Calista, according to that researcher.
I had looked into Ancestry, and I found a Barnabas Barnum who married a Abigail Harwood and they had a Jehiel Richards Barnum who had listed two children around the same time frame: Elihu, and Barnabus, but didn't list a Calista. Oh, well.
If I find something from your leads, I will let you know.
