Thanks Bonnie. Hannah Dickerman is often mentioned as the wife of Wiiliam Ives and William Bassett but I have never found any documented evidence to support this. It seems that one site refers to another. Jacobus does not list her, just saying Hannah blank. I would welcome some evidence. I did exensive researh on the topic which you can find on my blog startign with this post - http://billives.typepad.com/ives_family_history_blog/2007/02/who_was_william_8.html I am related to both the Dickermans and Bassetts through later marriages so we are related. You can find information on these families on the blog also. Bill
