It's been sometime now since I've tried to do anything on the Bassett line, and I still can't get my head around William being a widower in Holland in 1611, when he was apparently baptized in Stepney,ENG 24 Oct 1600, which would make him about 11 years old. The alternatives are:
(1) he went unbaptized for 10 or more years, which seems highly unlikely in that time and place, or (2) there is another William (his father maybe) in the wood pile. Is there a third alternative somewhere?
