jerry,thanks for the respond.when i first started this,my grandmother mary lee [batchelor] ballard would not tell anybody where she came from.all i had was her name and the family was almost sure she was born in tx. i think just about all of the batchelors came from nash county north carolina.richard batchelor cane to american in 1648, all settle in north carolina. and i have ton"s of info know. jerry if i had your mailing address, i could send you a lot of info.
