Emmett, thanks for the return response. Address is as follows: 2415 Waverly Drive, Bossier City, LA 71111. the Batchelors seem to be as secretive as the Dennis family is. What I have is principally Arkansas info. I found the origin of George to be Texas and his wife, Rosa, to be Oklahoma. Verfication is difficult, but I have a great deal of determination. The information I found is in the 1930 Census of Faulkner County, AR, where my mother came into the world in Mayflower. The story is a sad one about George and Rosa and is based on data from Mother's sister, Margaret. Out of seven children that Hazel had (one by William Blankinship), only three remain: Mother, Margaret, and Issac. Many others knew about Hazel, but never revealed anything about her. Even where she is buried is a mystery.
A curious note is that there is a Rosa Mahan who married a Hobart Batchelor in 1939, which by coincidence is immediately after Rosa who George divorced in 1938. Found this out just in the past couple of days while exploring on Ancestry.com. Great place to do research, just as is Genealogy.com.
