I too have Batchelor's in Putnam county. I have some information on Blakey's family that I have gathered from census's. I am related to: Thomas Batchelor (I wonder if his name was Wm Thomas) married Oct 13, 1816 Putnam GA to Eliza Jones She later remarries Rushin Lane in Putnam GA. They later move to Muscogee GA then on to Chickasaw MS. I am fairly sure that two of their children are named William Thomas and James Milton. Are you related to this family?
