I,too, participated in the publication, The Batchelor Family, by Lyle Keith WEilliams.
My line is through Caswell Batchelor, son of Joseph Batchelor (1758-1820). This is the first I have heard of the Batchelor Book as discussed on the Genealogy Forum. I hope I can still secure a copy. I disagree with Lyle in part where he says it cannot be proved that Caswell went to Missouri from Arkansas before going to Indiana. Joseph Woodfore Batchelor (my g-grandfather) and his twin, Asa Elvington Batchelor were born in MO according to all records. Asa served in the army and his birthplace is given as MO.
I would be happy to correspond with you on
"our" family. I would like more information on several family members in Caswell's family.
