My great grandmother Katie Catherine Batchelor is the daughter of Ed Eli Batchelor and Paralee Bagley. She also was married to a "James" She married Johnny James appx. 1911. Johnny James died sometime around April 1913 along with his brother Frank in McCurtain Co. OK. They are both buried at Hollycreek Cemetery in McCurtain Co. OK. My grandmother Johnnie James,daughter of katie Batchelor and Johnny James, has a photo of her grandmother Paralee Bagley. She is known in our family as being full blooded Cherokee indian. The photo that my grandmother has shows her in full indian dress. Katie Batchelor was born November 13, 1886. I am guessing that she is a twin to Adaline also born the same year and month. Twins did run in the family. My great grandmother Katie Batchelor ( James, Benton) is also buried at Hollycreek name, Katie Benton. She died in 1965. I know one other sister of my great grandmother, Letitia also known as Tishe, married a Jesse James in McCurtain Co. Ok in 1910.
