I am looking for additional information regarding my ggg-grandfather Almond L Batchelor. He was born in Canandaigua NY 28 February 1817. His parents were Zephaniah (1789-1843) and Ruth Kellogg Batchelor (1789-1892), both of Windsor VT. Almond married Ruth Kellogg in Mercer County Ohio, 19 May 1840 when he was 23 years old and they had at least 8 children (William Nelson, Mary Jane, Benjamin Franklin, Alice Amelia, Fannie, Caroline Tillie, Horace C, and Albert C). Almond died in Jackson (Madison County) TN 11 October 1862 at the age of 45. I am particularly interested in the circumstances surrounding Almond's death. I can be reached at kitduncan@msn.com.
