A bronze tablet honoring Col. Caleb C. MAGRUDER, jr., historian of the society, delivered the principal address at an "impressive service." "The memorial consists of a bowlder (sic), with a bronze tablet, bearing inscriptions of the important events in the career of Col. Ninian BEALL, and is located at the terrace in front of the church. The memorial was unveiled by the following descendants of Col. BEALL: William M. BEALL, J. Malcolm BEALL, J. William HENRY, Thomas HYDE, Caleb C. MAGRUDER, jr., Dr. Stewart H. MUNCASTER, Dr. Henderson SUTER, and Dr. Walter A. WELLS."
