This is a request for an original source. I've seen Susannah Beck's maiden name listed as Gibbs on many World Family Trees and on World Connect, but I haven't been able to find a single family tree yet that lists am original source like a marriage register, court record, bible listing, family letters or the like.
In fact, the only two places I've seen Jeffrey Beck's second wife listed at all are in his will where he calls his wife Susannah, and the first federal census where she is listed as "widow Beck."
Has anyone had any further luck in tracking more information on this elusive ancestor?
Does anyone know of any Gibbs family living in the Hillsborough District--Orange,Guilford, Randolph, Chatham Counties?
Any help will be ever so gratefully received. Thank you.
