Having difficulty finding correct information regarding Jehu, Catherine, and

John Beeson, the first three children (born in Davidson, NC) of Absolom Beeson and Joycy Ledford (they married in 1835, Stokes, NC).

Jehu Beeson's (b: about 1838)
Parents: Ezra Beeson and Elizabeth or
Parents: Absolom Beeson and Joycy Ledford
Wife: Fanny Wood married in 1185

John L. Beeson (b: about 1841)
Parents: Absolom Beeson and Joycy Ledford
Wife: Fannie Wood in 1885.

Since Jehu is another name for John, could these two be one and the same?

Catherine Beeson (b: about 1839, NC)
Parents: Absolom Beeson and Joycy Ledford
Husband: Elijah Thacker, Bond Co., IL in 1856

In the 1860 census Catherine and Elijah were living in IL and had a 14-year-old Elizabeth Ledford living with them. Not too far away there lived William, Hugh, Polly, Betsy, Sarah, and Martha Ledford. Since this was the surname of Catherine's mother, Joycy Ledford, I am wondering how they were related. I've never been able to determine the names of Joycy's parents.

Everyone here has such a wealth of information, I was hoping someone had run across these three (Jehu, Catherine, and John Beeson) and could tell me about what I perceive as some kind of mixup. Your help would be truly appreciated. Joycy and Absolom are my gr gr gr grandparents.
