Charles Roderick Bell was born in Calcutta, India in 1816 and died there between 1850 and 1860 leaving a wife Charlotte (formally Miss O'Donel) and daughter Jane O'Donel Bell born in 1845 and a son John M. Bell born in 1849, both born in Calcutta. The widow and two children returned to United kingdom and are found there in the 1861 census. C.R.Bell was the eldest son of Captain William Bell of the Bengal Horse Artillery and his first wife Jane Thule.
I would very much like to contact anyone descended from C.R.Bell's two children
