Joseph Blatchley, b. 6/24/1739; d. 10/12/1813 is bur. in the Presbyterian Churchyard, Brinckerhoff, Fishkill, Dutchess Co. He had 8 children, at least 3 of whom are buried in this cemetery. He also had Samuel, bpt. 4/1/1764 and Ebenezer Selah (Seeley), bpt. 10/27/1765. Ebenezer removed to the T. of Warren, Herkimer Co., NY, and I believe that Samuel did also. In 1804 Samuel purchased 82 acres in the T. of Warren and lived there until at least 1810 when he vanishes from the census. The Blatchley genealogy says that he died before 1813. His wife was Sarah, last name unknown, and it is quite possible that after Samuel's death she returned to Dutchess Co. and is the Sarah you are asking about.
