Have a look at Jenny Rasmussen's posting in September 2000. It refers to Thomas from Batheaston.
My connection is that my GGGG Grandfather, John England married Elizabeth Blatchley in 1800 in Batheaston. Her father was William, but I have yet to research them further. An earlier William was Churchwarden in the eighteenth century. John
